Într-o zi ploioasă de martie, se întuneca încet-încet, râul creștea tot mai mult, țărmul era acoperit de apă. nu era nici un om pe stradă, dar păsările din poienile de lângă râu, cântau. Și parcă era un cântec mai frumos decât acelea dintr-o zi însorită.
Toată ziua plouase neîncetat, dar câteva păsări n-au încetat să facă lucrul care îl fac ele cel mai frumos- să cânte.
Poate că erau câteva păsări îmbufnate că ploaia le-a udat cuibul și penele și s-au oprit din cântat.
De ce am înceta să îi dăm slavă Tatălui Ceresc? Ce ne-ar putea opri? Un timp urât? Puțină ploaie? O furtună? Un potop?
Nu lăsa liniștea să se aștearnă.
Cântă.
Nu te opri.
